6th IEEE Bangalore Humanitarian Technology Conference

Call For Papers

Scope and Objective

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as a transformative tool for addressing sustainability challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). AI enables sensing, predicting, and optimizing natural and anthropogenic systems/system parameters, and thus, provides a great promise in achieving a sustainable common future. IEEE B-HTC 2026 invites contributions in AI for Sustainability in the following 6 focus areas:

  • Clean Air
  • Clean Water
  • Clean Energy
  • Sustainable Mobility
  • Sustainable Infrastructure
  • Biodiversity Conservation

We seek original research, applied solutions, and case studies that utilize machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, graph neural networks, generative AI, optimizations, blockchain, federated learning, and data-driven decision-making to solve regional and global sustainability challenges. Efforts that result in Digital Public Good and Open Datasets to advance sustainability are also welcome. We encourage interdisciplinary contributions from academia and industry that explore region-specific sustainability issues; industry-driven solutions; scalable AI pplications for local, national, and global sustainability goals.
